Drax and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries partner on carbon capture pilot

Drax and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries are to pilot a new carbon capture technology later this year as plans for a huge Humber-wide system move on at pace.
Giants in their respective fields, the facility - to be embedded in the CCUS Incubation Area at the huge power station this autumn - will demonstrate how bioenergy with carbon capture and storage (BECCS) can be used at scale, helping to deliver the UK’s Net Zero targets.
